Matilda Newport Junior High School Library Renovation Project

Having a fully functioning library is one of many conditions for learning that is very essential to the success of students. The current state of the library is not conducive for learning. During the renovation project, we intend to transform the library into a mini state-of-the-art library. We intend to do the following:

  • Install sliding windows and doors
  • Install proper lighting
  • Install air conditioner
  • Create a fully functioning computer lab with at least ten computers with internet access
  • Add a copier/ printer
  • Install a power generator
  • Build more and better bookshelves
  • Add better chairs and table
  • Repair the leaking roof
  • Change the tiles on the floor
